APRIL 2016 HOUSING REPORT
During the month of April, Orlando's housing market saw both home prices and sales rise, but low inventory continued to challenge many would-be buyers.
The overall median price of a home in Orlando rose to $191,900, which is a 10% jump.
Compared to last April at the same time our Orlando homes sales were up only slightly over last April with 3,159 homes sold during the month.
Competition for homes has greatly increased of the low inventory of homes available for sale.
Since last year, the number of homes on the market has dropped by about 11% with only 10,447 currently available for sale.
