In February, the Orlando housing market experienced a jump and the median price rose while the amount of homes available for purchase shrank by twenty-one percent.
Compared to the same time last year the median price for a home in Orlando in February was $205,000 which is up 11% compared to last February's.
A total of 2,423 homes sold during the month an increase of less than half a percent compared to February 2016.
Limited inventory of homes available for sale continues to challenge the would-be buyers who have fewer choices to pick from only 8,457 homes that are currently available for sale which equates to a three and a half months supply of homes in Orlando for February 2017.
In February 2016, we had a 4.4- months supply.
