OCTOBER 2016 HOUSING REPORT
In October, Orlando home prices continue to rise while the number of home sales and the supply of homes available for purchase both declined.
The median price of homes sold during the month of October jumped to $205,000, that's an increase of 14%.
Compared to to last October rising prices and limited inventory lead Orlando home sales to drop 8%.
Compared to last year in total 2,654 homes closed during the month.
Would be home buyers in Orlando continued to be stifled by the limited selection of homes available for sale.
Since last year, the number of homes on the market has dropped by 12% with only 10,025 homes currently available for sale.
