JANUARY 2015 HOUSING REPORT
In January, increasing inventory, lower interest rates, and strong home buyer demand in Orlando lead to yet another month of higher home sales at higher prices compared to last January.
The overall median price of a home in Orlando rose 4% to $155,000.
A total of 2,074 homes sold during the month which is an increase of about 10% compared to last January.
Higher prices and increased sales have led more sellers to putting their home on the market.
More inventory provides area home buyers with more options when looking for their dream home.
The number of homes available for sale has increased by almost 17% since last year with 11,631 homes currently available for sale.
