JULY 2016 HOUSING REPORT
In July, Orlando's housing market continued to see inventory fall, leading to higher home prices and slower sales.
Compared to July 2015, the median price of Orlando homes sold during the month of July jumped to $205,383, that's an increase of 12%.
Compared to last July as prices rose Orlando house prices fell by about 6% compared to last year with 3,342 homes sold.
Competition for homes has greatly increased because of the low inventory of homes available for sale.
Since last year the number of homes on the market has dropped by almost 10% with only 10,648 homes currently available for sale.
