In October the rates of homes sales in Orlando slowed a bit as prices continued to jump.
Total closings for the month were down 3% compared to the same time last year with a total of 2,800 homes sold in Orlando during the month compared to last October.
The overall median price of a home in Orlando was up 12.5% to $180,000, that's the biggest year-over-year price increase so far this year.
The limited inventory of homes available for sale in Orlando continues to make finding a home challenging for would-be home buyers.
The overall number of homes available for sale has dropped by 9%, since last year with only 11,411 homes currently available for sale.
